Numbness.  

What is it.  

A feeling

A state of mind

Emptiness

Maybe all of it.  

Perhaps it will  

Go away 

I hope it does.  

Let this be passing 

And never 

Reoccurring. 

It’s too much. 

Just too much 

All at once.  

Like waves crashing 

Hails plummeting 

Which way up 

Disoriented.
